How can I fix the sound on my computer? - latest sound card

My sound does not work on my computer - if I start it until you can not hear the music by Windows at first, but then I have to play every note on my computer. I ran to the problem and check Device Manager - everything is connected and switched on. Everything worked out just a day or two ago and now its suddenly today. I restarted the computer and still no luck. I have the latest sound card. Other ideas?
